Armistice in Ypres

Our Armistice Day Tour based in Ypres is a true tour of Remembrance. It is not one of our everyday battlefield tours although we do tour the Ypres Salient looking at the main sites connected with three of the large battles that took place over this sacred ground.

The town over this period becomes the perfect vessel to remember the fallen and offers the inhabitants the chance to pay their respects. This is the perfect tour to take part in if you had a relative who served in the Ypres Salient or was one of the fallen and is remembered on the Menin Gate.

The poppy parade and a special Last Post Ceremony are some of the highlights of this tour as well as attending the ‘Great War’ Remembered Concert in the St Martin’s Cathedral. This special tour of remembrance is one that you will never forget and will I have no doubt want to repeat.
